Glamping I'm tempted...
Speaking to the girls at work and discussing holidays, we had been laughing about memories of caravan holidays when we were younger. Since then I have loved getting on a plane and escaping our unpredictable summer months.
However with Darcy still young and easily pleased with a beach no matter where it is Miami, Cancun, Brighton or Margate. I have been reminiscing of my youth and looking back with fond memories and the giggles had on those caravan sites.
A couple of my colleagues have gone done the route of camping which I'm neither familiar with or until recently had not particularly found appealing but then I discovered bell tents (what you'd find when glamping), and my friend has been raving about a recent trip to Salcombe, Devon and how beautiful the weather was and how brilliant the tent held up (yes I'm getting tempted).
An investment that would cost in the region of £300-£550 (if eBay is anything to go by) would in later years cost us only the price of the field hire to pitch up and allow us to enjoy the food and drink of our desired holiday destiantion.
I would love to hear of any of your experiences and if you could recommend me any particular locations or tents?
Ps do you think I could convince the hubby to go pink?
